Options for railpasses for Eastern Europe intinerary

Hoping someone can give me some advice on an upcoming trip. Here is the itinerary for our 11 day trip. Krakow 2 nights Krakow to Prague (overnight train) Prague 2 nights Vienna 2 nights Salzburg 1 night Innsbruck 1 night Appenzell 1 night Zurich (Fly home) My questions are is buying point to point tickets better than buying a than buying railpasses, (Eastern Euopre railpass & Swiss rail pass)??? I want to make reservations for the overnight train ride and reserve a 2 ppl sleeper, can you reserve online?
any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Brent, taking a look at your itinerary it seems that pass is rather useless thing, because point-to-point tickets can be much cheaper at the end. For instance Prague to Vienna is just 19 euro when bought in advance, Vienna to Salzburg is the same 19 euro or 25 euro with WestBahn train on the day of travel, Salzburg to Innsbruck can be as low as 9 euro only. Would recommend to check relevant country page here http://europetrainsguide.com, it will give you an idea about option in each country Regarding Krakow to Prague overnight, it seems that Polish rail company doesn't sell these tickets on-line via their website ( http://intercity.pl/en), so you left with the choice to either buy it via agencies (=risky plus they charge commission) or buy it when you already in Poland, doubt that everything would be sold out
