We arrive at Athens airport at 5pm. We will rent a car. We have one day before we have to arrive in Epidvaros. Can someone suggest a nice resort, hotel, that has beach that we can stay that is on our way to Epidavros. We need one day to relax and adjust to time before we arrive in Epidavros. Also, please recommend car rental company, as we are concerned in renting from Greek company because of the possibility of strikes.

We stayed in Loutraki. There are many hotels to choose from right on the beach. You can do a search on booking.com the check out hotels. Be aware that beaches in this area are not sandy but made of smooth pebbles and small rocks. Aside from that this is a beautiful beach with a nice promenade and many seaside restaurants. September 2012 we rented a car from economycarrentals.com. They are a wholesaler and the agence was a Greek company but we got terrific service.
