Old Prague Hostel

Has anyone stayed here? and what did you think? We adjusted our budget to the current exchange rate, and I'm trying to figure out ways to save money. This would save us about 300.00. Rick says older travelers will feel comfortable here.

Have you looked into staying at Guesthouse Lida? I did a month long trip around Europe last fall and stayed in hostels everywhere except Rothenburg and Prague (Rothenburg because there wasn't a hostel). I chose to stay in Guesthouse Lida instead of a hostel in Prague because the price wasn't to terribly different and I was travelling alone. If there are two of you, I would suggest looking at Guesthouse Lida and requesting the single - it is not really a single. It has a double bed and was much larger than I expected - I imagine maybe they make it a single because the bathroom is a bit small. I just responded to another thread about the guesthouse so check that out for other's reviews.

A beautiful city, undeniable. At first I was a bit skeptical because everyone wants to go there and I am not a person to do what everyone does but then I was convinced by my friends and I ended up in Prague….and I have to say I absolutely loved it. The small streets, the game of lights, the people… I loved the S. Vito Cathedral and Kafka’s museum. I hope you will visited that. I also was nicely surprised by the place we slept in. I’ll leave you here a very good site of Prague hotels, they are cheap and very pleasant. For your next time, or if any of your friends want to come. In the evening we also went to explore the bars, they are all so cozy and have such a nice environment and decoration and make you want to stay long.
