What is open and what is closed in Athens on Obi day? Are historical sights and restaurants open? Ground transportation running? Thanks

Ron I'm sure you'll be good for restaurants and for travel, although buses in the centre of towns may be delayed by processions. I would normally say that sights will also be open but, given the situation in Greece at the moment, opening hours have been a bit flaky. A friend who visited Corinth last week found the site closed at 3 even though the website was still showing it open until 7. Essentially cuts in staffing have made things a bit unpredictable. Have a great trip anyway. Alan
