I want to find a clean, centrally-located hostel in Athens but I don't want to be up all night with young partiers. I'm looking for an authentic experience-not another spring break! Any suggestions on mid-range hostels?

Jennifer, there are very few Hostels in Greece at all, and I think only one or 2 in Athens. What is your budget per night?
The cheapest centrally-located non-Hostel is John's Place, in Plaka, at about 45 Euros for a single -- but I don't think u can reserve via internet... you can find the phone #in guidebooks or on the internet.
What is "mid-range" for you? In the islands in May or June one can get very good digs for 20-35 per double in small family hotels. Athens is a very different story.

I've actually already booked in Athens and Rome. Now looking for Florence, Paris and London at around no more than $25 per night.
