6 friends going to Slovenia and Croatia in June 2012. Most guide books (incl RS) suggest moving from north to south. But bus connections seem better going from s to n. Also if we go s to n, we can capitalize on the warming temps as we head north. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I'm sure you can make it work in either direction. We're going in May and are going north-to-south (flying in to Ljubljana, flying home from Dubrovnik 16 days later. I think it's mostly a question of which kinds of experiences you want first/last.
We did S to N - basically because we got a good flight into Dubrovnik. Enjoy!
It depends where are you entering in Slo or Croatia, but I don't see such a difference.. In June you´ll not feel sucha differende in temperatures, unless you are heding also to slovenian mountains.
