Alan: Is this the Museum that wants the British Museum to "return" the Elgin Marbles (Parthenon Frieze)?

Yes, there's a big area, as I understand it, where they will be placed if Greece gets them back. It will mean you can look at them while looking up at the Acropolis.

It does look like a great building. As I said, only the ground floor is currently open, but it's very innovative. Some of the floor is glass, so you can look down at the ancient houses they discovered while digging the foundations.

If you mean separate from the Acropolis itself, then yes. The museum is on a separate, but adjoining, site. My guess is that once the full museum is open there will be some kind of joint ticket available.

When we went at Christmas, to the temporary exhibition on the ground floor, admission was free.
