We are 6 adults traveling from Mykonos via ferry to the port of Piraeus in mid July. We would like to know the easiest method of transportation to the Athens airport. We will be staying at the Attica Avenue Holiday Inn near the airport and we understand the hotel offers a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Please advise the best way for us to get to ther airport and connect with the hotel shuttle. Thanks

There's an Airport Express Bus (X96-€5) between Piraeus and the Airport that leaves every 30 minutes or so 24/7/365 in either direction. You should know that from Mykonos in July you can catch a ferry to Rafina instead of Piraeus, making the trip as short as 2 hours. Then from Rafina there's a bus to the airport that takes less time than the one from Piraeus.
