moving to Turkey

My boyfriend and I have been offered a position to teach English in Turkey and are highly considering it. We have the option of Istanbul or Ankara. Any insights on which city is preferable to live??

I have been to both cities and there is no doubt in my mind that for me it would be Istanbul. Much more scenery, charisma and much more to see.
