Am going on the RS/Prague tour in May. I see from posts that the tour guide often buys tickets for the opera/concerts. Anyone who has been on the tour know if that is "standard" or should I make personal plans to purchase opera tickets???
Any other hints of good "free" time options other than those posted above?

When I took the Berlin, Prague and Vienna Tour, I would say that the guide facilitated purchase of tickets. When we were there in July there weren't many options, but he did help us negotiate the process. We had one group dinner in Prague, but were on our own the other two nights. (I enjoyed our group dinners, BTW.) Pam
