We are taking a cruise to Greece and we are in port in Athens for about 10 hours and we want to go to the Meteora monastery. What is the best way to get to the monastery and how long does it take? Thank you.

10 hours would not be near enough. By car, it would be at least 4 hours, plus time just getting the car and doing a return, let alone any time to actually see the Monastaries. I would focus on Athens (Acropolis and Arch. Museum), if you have been before, then maybe Mycenae and Epidaurus by car, or maybe Delphi.
