Marmaris is a port on our cruise. We will be there all day, departing at 11:00 p.m.
Any suggestions for things to do during the day and restaurants for dinner?

it's pretty much just the water front stuff. you can do day trip to rhodes in greece via speed boat if not covered in your cruise.

How many you are I dont know but if you can hire a car with a driver,, there is a national park. Near the seaside and ~30 minutes drive on a wonderful road and panorama on DATCA route.. You may spend couple of hours and may have a extraordinary feelings different than other routines.. Or you may take a smal boat tour to visit some virgin bays to swim and walk on small islands.. Tours are on small boats arround 15 30 people including lunch and starting at arround 9 am or 10 you can find dozen of then on the seaside (be sure they can find you too) City centre is on the beachs but crowded, hot noisey ,depends what you are looking for...
I strongly recommend to search DALYAN close the marmaris for who is looking for extreem natural beatuise and historty embedded.. Also boat trips on the lake and to the sea and the patara beach which has 8km cost...
