Mainland Greece in November- towards Thanksgiving Break

My husband and I are planning to spend 10 days mid-end of November 2011 in mainland Greece. We plan to come back to Greece in summer 2012 for the Greek Islands, western Turkey and Istanbul. On paper the weather in mainland Greece, esp Athens looks reasonable. From your personal experience how is the weather around Athens, Delphi, Olympia etc towards the end of November? We are from Dallas but we are very used to off-season travel. We have been to Italy, Spain, Portugal etc in December and actually found it charming and less touristy. The cold doesn't bother us as much as the rains- which we always have worked around. Any thought will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks PS: I have a similar question about Paris at that time but I will post that in the appropriate link.

I had a few friends visit me in Athens mid-late November in 2009. I would recommend a light jacket for evenings or very early mornings, but it's not needed during the day. We were sweating on the Acropolis in Athens and also at Delphi. I didn't take them to Olympia so I can't speak directly to that location. We didn't experience any rain during their trip either. Although it can be busy, I think you will find Athens to be much less crowded during November. Safe travels and have a fantastic trip!

I've been those places in late November. It can get chilly, especially at night, but not likely to be cold. Maybe some rain but probably not much. All in all it should be very pleasant with few crowds even in Athens. The outlying areas like Olympia will be very quiet as it's off season. Be sure to reserve hotels ahead since many may be closed in Olympia or Delphi.
