What is the best way to travel from London to Poland. Are their any options besides flying?
I'm flying easyJet from London Gatwick to Krakow next month. It is about a 2 hour flight. That is going to be the shortest. Ryanair also flies to Krakow but I did not want to deal with them. Watch the airport when you do your searches as some of the airlines fly to Katowice rather than Krakow. A train would be a 20+ hour trip and probably much more money.
Thanks for the help, I will definitely look into that. Have an awesome trip!
I have had good luck with Easyjet as well. Probably lots of options from London that are budget airlines. Try using skyscanner.com to find flights. I agree, that train ride would be too long (and I love trains!)
Hi, I would say flying is the best option here using EasyJet. As for the train option this is the way I would do it, if I were to go by train: London to Paris by Euro-Star, (2 hrs 15mins), then take the Paris-Berlin CNL night train, stay one night in Berlin, take the early Berlin-Krakow train. This last leg is ca. 10 hrs. In 2001 I did something similar, Paris-Berlin (stayed one night) -Warsaw
