I will be ending the RS Eastern Europe tour in Lake Bled and have 3 nights to spend before my flight home. I was going to stay one more night at Lake Bled and two nights in Ljubljana. Is Ljublana worth 1 1/2 days? Anyone have an opinion on Ljublana? Thanks!

I stayed in Ljubljana for 2 days and really enjoyed it. You'll probably stop in Ljubljana for a few hours on your way from Rab to Lake Bled, and are likely to find yourself wishing you had more time there. The RS guides that lead the Eastern Europe tours are well acquainted with Ljubljana and could likely offer some great tips. Just ask them toward the end of the tour, maybe during the drive north from Rab.

We planned to spend 2 nights in Ljubljana and liked it so much that we stayed 4. On one of the days we rented a car for a day and took a day trip to Lake Bled.

Honestly, Barbara I'd skip Bled, and head down to the caves. Just a little over an hour. Predjama, Skocjan, and Postojna are well worth a day, and you could finish that evening with dinner and a night in Lju. Let me know if you have any questions! Chris
