Living/Traveling in Belgrade

This question is for people who have traveled or lived in Belgrade, Serbia. What is life like now in Belgrade? What problems and what advantages do/did you experience? Negatives? Positives? From your perspective, has Serbia recovered from the Milosevic Era, the UN sanctions and the Nato bombing?

Hi,
My wife and I spent two nights in Beograd. We wish we had scheduled more time. What a great city. Pedestrianized streets filled with locals shopping and eating. Very nice food at reasonable prices. We saw little of the overall city. We arrived at the train station walked to our hotel, toured the castle, and visited the pedestrian zones. Flowers, trams, and a very up scale city look. We saw no evidence of bombing. wayne iNWI
