Jennifer's Hamam Arasta Bazaar Istanbul

I'm captivated by the reviews of Jennifers and hope to visit there next week. Can someone give me a ball park figure of how much the bathrobes are so I know how much $$ to bring-also the bath towels. Also, what hours is the store open? My hotel is just a few blocks from there (at least that is what appears on Google. Thanks for any help.

Hi Fredrica, I didn't buy or even try on the bathrobes, but I bought a dish towel and I think it was around $12.00 US for a 12x24 inch towel, at least to give you some sort of idea. The Arasta Bazaar was lots of fun. You will have a blast in Istanbul. :) Enjoy!

Fredrica - Can't help you with the price of bathrobes, but they have really nice towels in the $14 to $50 range. There is so much variety and things for every budget from basic cotton pestamels to those made of linen and silk. Also cotton loop towels, but those are more expensive as are those made of linen and silk. When we were there a couple of weeks ago, they were open 9am - 10pm every day. There are 3 Jennifer's Hamam shops in the Arasta Bazaar, each with slightly different merchandise. She told us the main shop has the current styles and colors and the other two shops have mostly the discontinued or last year's styles. Her prices are fixed and she had no discount for cash. She does accept credit cards so we ended up using our credit card with no foreign transaction fee. I went in 2 of the shops 2 weeks apart and was quoted the same prices by different employees. It was nice to see prices that were really the same and not different each time someone asked.... Don't be afraid to have them show you many different items and ask questions - they will explain the differences in quality across all their products as well as tell you how they are all made. You can email any inquiries as well since I don't think there are any prices on the website. Enjoy your trip!
