Istria Itinerary - Too busy?

We have 1 1/2 days in Istria and i want to make the most out of it. However, i am worried that it will be too busy, so i would like your suggestions on the following:

We arive in Rovinj by Ferry from Venice around 8PM. Eat dinner in Rovinj, Spend the night at Casa Garzotto. Next morning, explore Rovinj until Lunch, eat lunch somewhere, rent a car and drive to Pula (1hr?) Explore Pula including the collesuim and temple of augustine. Dinner in Pula. Evening at Hotel Scarletta.

Wake up, drive to Pazin to explore the castle. Drive to Motovun, explore eat lunch, Drive to Hum, Explore Hum. From Hum we have to drive to Plitvice for the evening ( 3 hrs?)

Is this doable, is it too busy? I am missing something vital. I really wish we could have more time in Istria, but it is not possible with the rest of our Itinerary. Can we squeeze in Groznjab? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I'm with Steve - stay 2 nights in Rovinj and day trip to Pula. That's what I did, and it worked well. It will also save you a half hour of driving when you visit hill towns on the 2nd day. Haven't been to Pazin or Hum, but both Motovun and Grosnjan are pretty small. An hour would be adequate to explore them. Drives between the towns you mention are about a half hour, so it's possible to see 3 towns during the morning and early afternoon and still be in Plitvice for dinner. It would be a very busy day, but is doable. Trying to squeeze in a 4th town is too much. If you want to see Groznjan, drop one of the others. If including Groznjan, do it first and then work your way south the the A-8 (road to Rijeka). At Plitvice, eat at Licka Kuca restaurant instead of the hotel. Their grilled meats and trout are to die for.
