Strange question--any recent visitors to Istanbul see much interior/exterior renovations to major sites in the city (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, etc.)? Thanks!

Strange question--any recent visitors to Istanbul see much interior/exterior renovations to major sites in the city (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, etc.)? Thanks!
I was there Dec 22-25. I didn't see anything on the exterior of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia or Topkapi Palace. There was a bit of scaffolding in the intertior of the Hagia Sophia when we were there.
