Is the Istanbul Museum Card worth it? It is 72 TL for admission/no lines for 6 Istanbul museums in 72 hrs. to me it seems like a lot of $, but I want to hear from others. Thanks!

We have the same question. In checking the museums offered it does not seem to pay for itself. And 72 hrs would mean a lot of rushing around. We think we will not buy the card but are eagerly awaiting a response from someone who may have used one. Unfortunately, it's a new card and there may be no one with experience with it.

The museum pass is approximately $43. It will probably advance you to the front of the line. There is a thread on Trip Advisor that will give you the pros and cons. It really depends on the museums that you want to visit. Do as one traveler suggested: make a flow chart of the museums, their hours and day they are closed, cost, etc.
and decide if it works for you.
