I'm thinking about going to Istanbul in late November,and while the daily highs and lows according to Yahoo are 57 and 46, the guidebooks don't really recommend going after October, and some say the weather can by chilly and rainy. Does anyone know what type of weather I can expect? Thanks.

If you check out the Istanbul tour elsewhere on this web site, you can pull up the weather there. I found that the hi/lo in Nov 59/47 & Dec 52/41 with Nov having 29 dry days but Dec having only 16 dry days. I was there in May and June of this year for a total of 9 days and still did not see everything Istanbul has to offer. It is really a big city - maybe 17 million people. Make sure to get RS Istanbul guide book - it sure came in handy for us.
