I will be in Istanbul in late June. I found a hotel I like, but there is no a/c in the rooms. We would be sightseeing all day, so essentially just need a place to sleep. For people that have been here during this time, is an a/c a must at night, or would it cool off enough? I tend to be 'colder' but am not sure how humidity would affect things. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
June can be fairly variable. When I was there, in very early July, it was beautiful weather, no humidity and slightly cool. However, the week after we left, the temps climbed considerably and it was very humid. A friend there says it is normally very warm and humid that time of year.
Personally, I would go with A/C.
