can anyone recommend a place to stay in Istanbul, around $50-$80 range, we will be going this April/May, so i believe those prices should get us something decent, not luxury but comfortable and hopefully a good Turkish breakfast. Thanks, shannon gokay

Have stayed four times in 2006 and 2007 at the friendly (big help to locate our luggage lost by British Airways) Obelisk Hotel a few blocks from the Blue Mosque.
This where Rick's tours stay. Last July it was 68 Euros after the 10% Rick discount. They also offer easy airport pickup (say hi to Illius, the driver).
Great buffet breakfast included in the rooftop dining room.
