Istanbul - Hotel Empress Zoe

Is anyone familiar with this hotel? Am thinking of booking and would appreciate any feedback. Thank you so much.

No, but there are many reviews on tripadvisor. You may want to look at those.

We stayed at the Hotel Empress Zoe in 2004 and enjoyed it. It is within walking distance of all the sights and has a wonderful rooftop deck with a spectacular view. The only caution is that there is no elevator and access to the room floors is by a narrow circular staircase. Not for anyone with mobility problems. The staff did take our suitcases upstairs for us.

I stayed there in Dec 2008. My husband and I loved our stay. Yes, the staircase is tight. They served a good breakfast and the price was quite reasonable (65 Euro/night). From the hotel we walked to all the sites.

Being cat lovers, we also enjoyed the 4 cats that "rule" the place. We often had a cat in our laps during breakfast and for our evening tea.

Enjoy!
