Istanbul Hammam recommendation

Can anyone recommend a hammam in Istanbul? I read a lot of reviews on Trip Advisor and they are very negative on two of the seemingly most populer - Cagaloglu and Cemberlitas. I really have relied on TA in the past and feel I haven't been steered wrong yet. So I was concerned to see so many negative reviews on both. Anyone recommend an alternative place? Also - I can't seem to find info on if you tip and if so, correct tipping protocol (how much? when?).
THANKS

Check out www.suleymaniyehamami.com.tr. Located next to the Suleymaniye Mosque in a building over 400 years old, it was a memorable experience. Our hotel called and made the appointment for us and we were picked up and dropped back off. Very nice! We didn't tip so not sure if that was a faux pas!
