We will be in Istanbul April 8 (Catholic Easter) and want to attend Mass, preferably in English. Any suggestions? I have St. Anthony of Padua. OK? Also, will most sights be closed on a Sunday? I know Orthodox Easter is April 15. Thanks for any help.

Catholic churches in Istanbul. Use Google Maps satellite view to locate exactly where these churches are:
http://www.istanbulinfolink.com/place_of_worship/churches/christian_1.htm Things don't close on Sundays unless it's a Muslim holiday. Lastly, check the $ bookstore on Pine (if it's still open) for the RS guidebook for Istanbul or the closet Barnes and Noble. GREAT resource.
