My wife and I are looking to take a trip to Israel in 2010. Does anyone know of a good tour to contact. We would like to be in a small group where everything is included,(meals,hotels,guides.) Thanks Tom

I would suggest you contact an Israeli Embassy or Consulate and ask them for suggestions for small group tours. There are countless tour groups but the majority of the tours are 25-48 people. When I was in Jerusalem, I ran into a small group on tour and I believe there were only 8 of them....they were out of New York.
BYW, the embassy will send you a package with brochures, maps, etc., for free.

Thanks for the info, but do you know how I would contact the Israeli embassy and what department? Do you know what is good time of the year to go there, weather wise?

I went the last 2 weeks in November. Perfect shirt sleeve weather. Don't believe I even had to unpack my sweater.
I would suggest you go for 2 weeks. We went all over Israel. Wonderful trip!
