Will be staying in Dubrovnik for eight days in May and would like to visit one or two of the islands. Wondering which would make easy day trips and which are "don't miss". thanks.

I visited the island and town of Korcula on a day trip from Dubrovnik via Elite Travel. Don't recall the price, but was affordable and fun. Very comfortable bus. Good day trip. Saw Marco Polo's house and the old part of town. One stop to the old walled city of Ston on the way back to Dubrovnik. Would recommend seeing Korcula. Also used Elite Travel to visit the bay and town of Kotor in nearby Montenegro. Fantastic. And via local bus, saw the town of Cavtat. I'd list Korcula, Kotor, and Cavtat as "don't miss" day trips.
