Planning a trip to Abruzzo in Italy to visit the small village from which my maternal grandmother's ancestors immigrated to Canada. My wife and I have always wanted to see some of Dalmatia, and I'm thinking of combining the two via ferry into a trip just under two weeks. Any thoughts on this plan? In terms of our home bases? And nights per locale?
