Well, I'm sure they do sell them. Incontinence knows no borders. I suspect they can be found at any pharmacy.

Mae, The previous reply is what I would also suggest. A Pharmacy would be a good place to start. Regarding your trip, BE SURE you don't exceed the three-month Schengen Limit or you could face severe fines for overstayiing. Just curious, where are you going in Greece? Happy travels!

Ah, am returning to Chania in Crete. The owner of Hotel Morfeas is a good friend and I miss her! Check it out if you're interested in staying at the best hotel in Greece. BTW, thanx for the advice but am a well-seasoned traveler aware of little details like time limits.

I don't travel anywhere without a supply of pads. Luckily I only ise the minis so they take up less room in my bag and then its space to put purchases in. They also save on washing underwear!

Mae, if you have a good friend in Crete you will be visiting, why not ask her for the information you are seeking here? Surely she would know or could find out.

That's an obvious and good idea, but unfortunately I am the sort of person who would be terribly embarrassed to ask someone younger than my youngest child for that information.

C'mon Mae, if you're brave enough to go to Greece on your own, you can be brave enough to ask a "shopping question" of your landlady. I just now Googled "Incontinence Pads Greece Retail" and voila! up came the name Mega Disposables SA everything from baby nappies on up. You could e-mail your Greek contact if there are Chania pharmacies or supermarkets that stock Mega brand "pantiliners" and "that sort of thing." You can't see a red-face of embarrassment in an e-mail. If you don't want to do that, and you're stopping in Athens before you fly to Chania, I'm SURE that you can locate some large pharmacies in such a major city that stocks what you want. Good luck! Google is your friend; it's always my first stop for questions. PS: i'm probably older than you.

Thanks...great info! Actually, I'm 65 and I'm not going alone. Did you ever hear that assumptions make an a-- of u and me?
