We will be on Paros for a week at the end of June and hope to make day trips to other islands. What is close enough? Anything we should know about boats from Paros?

You can go to Antiparos frequently by local shuttle ferry from the main village of Parikia and from Pounta you can take the little car ferry if you have a rental moped or car. Mykonos and Delos are just an excursion boatride away from the departure point in Naoussa. The Hellenic Seaways highspeed ferry will take you to Mykonos from Parikia but before you take this one you'll have to make sure that you can return on the same day. The Blue Star car ferry will take you to Naxos. There are lots of choices but the return ferry is the unknown at this time. Next June's schedules won't be out until April or May. Here is a link to what it looked like late last June. I arbitrarily chose June 26.
