Does anyone have any suggestions about the best way to get to Istanbul from the eastern islands (Patmos)? We will have about 3 nights total in Turkey before we fly home from Istanbul, and we're not sure whether to bus, train or fly there from western coast of Turkey.

Catch a ferry from Patmos to Kos then to Kusadasi in Turkey Get dolmus or bus from Kusadasi to Izmir. Fly to Istanbul from there or travel by coach which is about 4 hours.
