I believe the train is not the most efficient way, so does someone know of an airline that flys nonstop? If not nonstop, then what is the best path? Thanks!

Start with Croatian Airlines or Malev (the Hungarian airline). Best bet is to go to a search engine such as Kayak.com and put in DBV for the origin and BUD for the destination. Also check out whichbudget.com to see if any low cost carriers fly that route.
