How do you get from Piraeus to Hydra in mid-September?

I was looking forward to seeing Hydra in mid-September. I have been unable to find ferry tickets on any website for that time. Is there an inexpensive way to get to Hydra, from Piraeus preferably, at that time of year?

Thank you very much.

Becky, my wife and I did this exact trip in mid-May 2008. After disembarking our cruise ship in Piraeus, we taxied to the Hydra hydrofoil dock. I'm not certain, but I think the Hydra dock is within very close walking distance to the Piraeus-Athens subway stop. Because we weren't certain of our timing, we chose to buy our hydrofoil tickets at the dock rather than in advance. No problems - we boarded the next hydrofoil leaving for Piraeus - it's approx. 1.5 hours to Hydra - smooth and fast. Finally, if you've never been to Hydra, you will absolutely love it! If you've scheduled 2 days, change it to 4 ... if you've scheduled 3 days, change it to 6 ... you get the idea!

There may be two reasons you see no schedule. First, very few are showing for that far out, giving the impression there are no ferries, but there will be. The second is that the ferry that goes to Hydra and the other Saronic Gulf islands is more a commuter ferry. It goes frequently and often the schedule is not published like other routes.
