On a recent Mediterranean cruise, our ship arrived at Pier 3, Terminal A. We tried to follow the directions in "Mediterranean Cruise Ports" (pages 876-877) to find the Apheteria bus stop for bus 843 to get to the train station. We followed the main road until it came to a fork, but did not cross. (I suspect we ought to have!) We decided to cross the busy road since that was the direction for bus 843 that we wanted. We found the Taleneio bus stop and bus 843 did stop there, but we couldn't find a place to buy tickets. We tried walking to Apheteria again, but the sidewalk came to an end. We gave up searching after about 45 minutes and walked to the train station. This question has been gnawing at me: How do I get to the Apheteria bus stop from Terminal A in Piraeus for bus 843?
