Any recommendations on centrally located hotels? We would like a mid-price range, typical RS type
hotel. Anyplace with a nice ambience that you have stayed at would be appreciated. (even in the higher price range if it was outstanding)

Don't know about hotels, but had delightful stay at Pension Olzakovsky (which RS recommends) last summer. 990 CK then for smaller double room with lovely breakfast - which is on patio at edge of Vltava - charming!

We stayed where Rick stayed when he taped his Cesky Krumlov show - the Castle View Apartments, and they were great. The location is as central as you can get in CK. http://accommodation-cesky-krumlov.castleview.cz/

Castleview looks great however it looks like it is booked. Any other ideas? I looked at the apartment but I don't think it would work for us. There are four adult women traveling and we need either an apartment with 4 beds, or two hotel rooms....
