Any suugestions for hotels, etc on Santorini? Oia or Fira? Etc. Thanks!

Hi Craig,
My husband and I traveled to Santorini last September. We stayed at Dana's Villas in Fira (a little outside the city center). We loved it! I think it's one of my all-time favorite hotels. It was a beautiful location, right on the edge of the island. We had a sort of suite, where the bed was actually up some stairs. We also had a sink, fridge, and, I believe, a stove.
I couldn't tell you the price, as we booked through an agent, but I would highly recommend it. The only thing, and I think you'll find this at a lot of Santorini hotels, is that you have to travel up and down LOTS of stairs to get to your room (from the road to our room was about 120 stairs). But it really is worth it.

We are going to be in Santorini this March and I am about ready to book at Dana Villas. I know there are stairs but after reading your post, I think it is the place for us. Wisconsites must think alike...we lived in Stevens Point for 25 years!!

Hotel rooms range in price between 25-1600 euro night. It would be VERY helpful if you were to state your maximum daily room budget, when you plan to be there and if you want a kitchen and/or a swimming pool.
