We will be spending time in Santorini after a cruise in Oct. I'm looking for a nice hotel without lots of steps that convenient to restaurants, transportation, etc. Thinking Oia, Fira, Imerovigli, etc.

Not enough information. What is your maximum daily room budget, in EURO? Please clarify. Does "Thinking Oia, Fira, Imerovigli, etc." mean you want a hotel on the cliff with a caldera view? If yes, first please choose the village you prefer because there are just way too many hotels to suggest.

Sherry, You might have a look at www.nissosthira.gr/, which is located in Fira. It's in a great location with good restaurants and other facilities nearby. There were some stairs, but you could always request a room on the ground floor. I'd also suggest asking for a room at the back, as the main street goes right by the front door, and those @#$% Quads seem to motor past well into the evening. Happy travels!

I stayed in Theoxenia Hotel - in Fira. It slept 3 people, had a large patio/balcony over looking the Caldera. (Amazing Sunsets) Huge/beautiful breakfast delivered to our patio/balcony each AM at the time we requested. Beautiful views.... located on the main pedestrian street in Fira. We walked all over Fira and if we want to go further, we caught a local
bus to other sites on Santorini. Check out the reviews and prices on Tripadvisor or another hotel booking site.
