Does anyone have any hotel recommendations in Krakow and Prague? I've seen some recommendations for the Hotel Julian in Prague but wondered if it was too far out. Thanks in advance.
We stayed at the Cloister Inn in Prague and Hotel Weilopole in Krakow. Both convenient with good breakfasts. Good bang for the buck I thought.
A superb hotel in Prague is the Golden Well. Probably the best hotel we've ever stayed at in several years' of trips to Europe.
We stayed at the Globtroter in Krakow and the Hotel Central in Prague. Both are centrally located, reasonably priced and very comfortable.
We have also stayed at the Golden Well in Prague and I would highly recommend it. It is pricey, though, and there are two Golden Well hotels in Prague - the one we loved was on U Zlate Studne. In Krakow, we stayed at Hotel Wentzl and it is great. We are staying at both of them again this spring.
We have stayed at the Saski in Krakow just off
main market square and would recommend it. We
have stayed at the Julian in prauge and would also
recommend it. Yes, it is a little off the beaten
path but good public transportation is less than a
block away that will take you directly into old town.
How long are you staying in each city? If 5 or more days in Krakow, look into an apartment inside the walls.
I enjoyed our 2 story 1 bedroom hotel room at the Residenze Retezova in the old town. It was a lovely free upgrade from the small 1 bedroom loft that I originally requested. Would stay there again.
