Hello, So I've scoured tripadvisor and booking.com and have a few places in mind but have had great luck in the past asking forums for recommendations. Last year we stayed at a place in Munich recommended on this forum and it was awesome and not on tripadvisor. So, I'm wondering if anyone has personal experience at a hotel they liked alot in Vilnius. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (8 & 9)and are arriving by car. Thanks much!

Well, you probably will only get a few responses for Vilnius, so I'll mention the place where I stayed- Domus Maria. I think its sort of a parish guest house located in an old monastery or convent. Sits right next to the Gates of Dawn. The room was about as plain as can be, but clean and had a private wash room. I think there's a small parking lot outside.

We stayed at the Domus Maria and I'd also recommend it. Its at the upper end of the main street through old town. Down near the lower end is the Litinterp Guest House which I'd also recommend. Its simpler and less expensive. The Litinterp has locations in Kaunas and Klaipeda too.
