hi, we were in greece for 2 week sin 9/05 and stayed in Hotel Hera (www.herahotel.gr) which was where Rick stayed in his Greece travel show (I did not know this when I booked the hotel.) It was great. Within easy walking distance of the Plaka, acropolis, great local restaurants, and has a beautiful roof top restaurant/bar with a breathtaking view of the acropolis. The rates were very reasonable and the rooms looked like they cost more than they did. Also try Steve Barrets Greece Travel Guide on line. His web site is recommended by Rick and provides you with info and travel agents in Greece who can help make your reservations.
