Hotel in Oktogon area

There are several hotels and hostels in the area, but are you open to some other spots along Andrassy? For instance, the K&K Hotel Opera Budapest is a great bargain and very nice. Good breakfast and elevator. Nice location right around the corner from the Opera Metro 1 Stop. Just a few blocks south of Oktogon.

The Star Inn hotel Budapest seems to get good reviews, though I have no personal experience. It's just west of Oktogon.

Check out the K&K though, I think you will be pleased.

I stayed at the Easy Hotel and it was very cheap and clean. It was also a small hotel room so it will be great if you are alone. You can get bigger rooms and they aren't much more. There was an elevator and it was a block from the subway. Since it is budget (my room was 15 euros/night), you pay for extras like TV and maid service.

Thats right, the Easy Hotel. I've heard good things about that.

My wife and I just returned - we stayed at the Corinthia Hotel Budapest. It's normally a very expensive hotel ($295 nt) but I found a deal online for $79 nt. This is a 5 star hotel - not a typical Rick Pick, but if you can get the luxury at an incredible price, you should definitely think about it!

I stayed at the Easy Hotel last summer. It was quaint for sure and at 20 euro for my stay could not have been beat. I had a hostel in the area that I checked out early from to have my own space for cheap for a couple days. Great location, easy tram ride to subway and train station.
