Looking for a decent hotel or apartment recommendation in Budapest, preferably on the Buda side. Need a 2 bedroom if we go with an apartment or condo. Staying 6 nights and was thinking the apartment would be a better deal and maybe have a washer and dryer. Any thoughts or ideas greatly appreciated

I have his book but nothing mentioned in it about weekly apartment rentals - thought I would ask about that and then fall back for a hotel recommendation if that failed! Thanks for the reply

Have you checked in RS book for that area? If not, do so as I have found his recommendations accurate.

We had great success with inhungary.com
Had 2 apts in Budapest, oone each week we were there
First was 100 yds from Great Synagogue and other was 3 blks from Parliament .Reasonable rental, about $70/day for one broom with bath and kitchen

Try Agape hotel/apartments. We had an apartment for three nights - brand new building, elevator, equiped kitchen.
