I've never done it but did read recently that the mountain was closed for the summer because of the risk of fires.

Hmmm. Thanks for the tip. I went to it and read the post, also.

However, I just received a call from my son, and he had just come down from the mountain. Made it to the Mytikas Summit and had an unforgettable time!
