We took a cruise in May so I don't know about the weather, but a blue cruise is just about the best thing we did in our 3 weeks in Turkey. We stopped at every ruin and swam among the dolphins(sorta) and the FOOD! Oh my, all fresh and interesting and full of vegetables and identifiable meat. The bunks were smallish, but then, one is on a boat, and the bathrooms goofy, but it was heaven on a stick. I would love to do it again. Each port is different and the Turkish people are some of the nicest I have met anywhere. Culture and food and lovely people. What a great country

I took two cruises (day trips) in August three years ago. Absolutely wonderful. A cautionary tale: my first boat from Fethiye was too big so that means there are so many people, my second boat from Bodrum was smaller, so fewer people. Try to find a smaller boat. You can book them usually just a day before, or even that morning, even during the tourist rush, because there are lots of boats.

The atmosphere on gulet cruises can vary a lot. Ask about whether music will be played during the cruise and whether there will be unlimited alcohol provided. Some folks very much prefer a party atmosphere and others very much prefer a quieter time.
