I have not seen or read very much about renting properties (weekly, etc) for this area of Europe. Other than vbro.com does anyone have any recommendations for this type of lodging.
Is this logical for having a home base for island hopping?

There are websites for most popular destinations in Greece that offer all sorts of accomodations. Where specifically do you want to go?
It makes better sense to plan a route that doesn't have you backtracking. You'll just waste too much time if you don't plan it out.
We also are having trouble finding a 2 bedroom apartment or condo for four adults on Santarini.
Also, we took advantage of Lee's recommendation about the Aegean air fares. Great advice that saved us enough to offer a toast to Lee when we get there.
