I'm looking for a beautiful hotel in a great location on a Greek island or two for my two week honeymoon. We've saved up so it can be a splurge! Would like to be near a town or village for light sightseeing. Thanks.

Please check out the website artmaisons.com to see the Aspaki Hotel in Oia on Santorini. We stayed in the Atmospherico Suite, and it was beyond wonderful! They also have another hotel (even more expensive). The views from Aspaki are stupendous, and the privacy is excellent. I would never stay anywhere else on Santorini.

I stayed at Altana Traditional Suites in ImerovIgli. We had two of the suites and they were romantic, private, the owner very helpful. Delicious breakfast. We had rented a little subcompact car and that didn't limit us to just walking to Imerovigli and we could go to the wineries,beaches, museums etc..

Absolutely no experience in this hotel but have read good things online about it: http://www.oldoiahouses.gr/ I would assume any hotel on the edge of the caldera would have a spectacular view.
