Greek Ferry prices

I am looking at the current ferry prices for travel between Mykonos and Santorini. For my June sail date, it's currently priced at 47 Euro. I intend to wait until a couple of weeks before my trip to purchase the ticket to see if other ferries/schedules become available. I just want to know if ferry prices fluctuate like airplane prices do. Will that 47 Euro ticket still cost the same two months from now?

Ferry prices are fixed. They will not change. If you're going in the direction of Mykonos TO Santorini you may be able to save some money by taking the morning highspeed ferry to Paros at 10 am, continuing on to Santorini by Blue Star car ferry at Noon. This option is not availabe in the reverse direction.

I found the price for the first leg of the trip, but the price for the Blue Star ferry is not published yet. Any idea how much it would be? Are there any other island hopping combinations to consider here? And yes, this is strictly just for Mykonos to Santorini. Thanks!

Lee, always appreciate the advice. One more question: Is it ok to wait until two or three weeks before my trip to book the ferry ticket(s)? Should I be worried about the ferry(s) running out of seats?

It's unlikely that the ferries will sell out, especially the Blue Star since it's huge, but booking a couple of weeks in advance will certainly guarantee that you get aboard when you want.
