Greek Beaches

Im going to Greece in June and I am looking for the best beaches, both secluded and touristy.
Also, any accommodation recommendations are appreciated.

I can't really recommend any beaches because we went on a cruise and we just found nearby ones, BUT...I wish someone had suggested that I bring water shoes or sandals with me to EVERY beach we visited! Those rocks on almost every beach were very sharp on my tootsies and I would have enjoyed myself a lot more if I didn't have to walk so carefully out to the deeper water where I could swim (or float well in all that saltiness!). Just a little tip...

We are going to Skiathos, and I have heard it is an amazing place.

You'll find secluded beaches on Antiparos and touristy ones on Mykonos.

There are obviously tons of beaches, but a couple of my favorites: Mykonos...wonderfully touristy for the young, and those that still think we are. We actually loved Paradise Beach, great water, fine pebbles, nicely crowded, great people watching, two great party bars with reasonable drinks and food. Laid back though with a mix of clothed, topless, and nude sunbathers. Lots of people recovering from the previous night for most of the day, slowly winding up to full bore party by early evening. Completely opposite would be Koufonissia. Small island with little other than a few hotels, a few restaurants, and lots of beach. Probably some of the best fine sand beaches in Greece with Pori beach the best and nearly deserted most of the time.

If you do Santorini, you'll be able to do a black sand beach, red sand beach, brown sand (normal for me) and a rock "beach" all in one day if you rent a car. I'll try to look up specifics if you'd like me to do so. Enjoy Greece. I am not a person to do a place more than once since there are so many places to see in the world, but I will go back to Santorini. I can't wait to return.
