Greece- Travel Agent?

If we are planning on traveling to Greece Mid-July I hear it's really busy. Should we look into a Greek travel agent so they can book hotels and ferries for us? If so, does anyone have any recommendations?

It can all easily be done online now, but if you prefer to use a Greek travel agency here are the two best in Athens. They both have excellent reputations for reliability, communication and follow-up in case of problems once you're there.

Hi Michele,
We traveled last year to Greece (Santorini, in Oia and then to Athens) from July 2nd to July 17th. It was our first time there so I don't have anything to compare it to (from one year to another) but it wasn't over the top crazy busy. It felt just about right for a summer vacation spot. I booked all our hotels on line (by emails) myself, booked the air from Athens to Santorini and back myself. and per Lee's suggestion waited to rent a car once we got there as well as the tours. (for example we did the half day sunset catamaran with dinner tour) We had no problem booking either, except we could not get the jeep we wanted so we "settled" on a really nice convertible. We never took a ferry (we just parked it on Santorini and it was wonderful, wish we could have stayed longer) If you don't mind research, it is fun to do it yourself. (and to claim the bragging rights-- my husband is still complimenting me on the trip I planned!)
